If you’re coming from the direction of Split, also take the D8 State Road via Makarska or Plo\u010de to Ston where you can turn onto the Pelje\u0161ac Road to Orebi\u0107. You can also get on a ferry with your car in Plo\u010de and be in Trpanj in an hour, from where it will take you about 20 minutes to get to Orebi\u0107. Once you’ve disembarked in Kor\u010dula, it will take you about 15 minutes to get to Orebi\u0107 by ferry or a passenger boat. The Katamaran line (Katamaranska linija) Split-Kor\u010dula is the fastest connection between Split and Kor\u010dula in the summer months. Orebi\u0107 can be reached by a passenger boat departing soon after the catamaran docks in Kor\u010dula. Werbeck singing summer courses (School of Uncovering the Voice), will be held in Orebi\u0107 on Pelje\u0161ac peninsula in Croatia. This year summer courses will be held from July 17 till July 23 and from August 07 till August 13. 2022. During the course week, the participants will meet twice a day in the Orebi\u0107 Municipality Council Building in the mornings from 10 to 12, and from 2-4PM.<\/p>\n
The length of the course allows us to get deeper into creating musical instruments by ourselves, to understand our own voice better, as well as to understand the ways in which it can be more easily and efficiently used. Attention is also paid to listening to other participants in the group. The week’s work is mostly focused on training by the Werbeck Singing Method, as well as on singing monophonic and polyphonic songs. You may use your free time for walks through Orebi\u0107. The rich tradition of this cradle of captains and sailors can be seen in the Maritime Museum. You may also visit the 15th-century Franciscan monastery and taste the world-famous local wines while you have lunch.<\/p>\n
Pelje\u0161ac offers various possibilities of Sea Recreation to anyone interested in a more active holiday: from swimming, surfing (the ideal position on the Pelje\u0161ac Channel is in front of the town Viganj), water-skiing, rowing and sailing to diving and exploring various marine flora and fauna, as well as archaeological rarities. Of the recreation \u201con dry land\u201d there is no lack of possibilities either: walking in nature, away from traffic, cycling, hiking, especially to the highest summit of Pelje\u0161ac \u2013 St. Elias (Sv. Ilija), 961m.<\/p>\n
If you want to embark on sight-seeing Croatian historical and natural landmarks, take a deep breath first and enjoy the unspoiled nature of the hundred-year-old pine trees, cypresses, olive and almond trees, agaves and flowers. This will give you the strength to continue. You have a truly wide selection of excursions to choose from \u2013 the islands of Kor\u010dula, Mljet, the city of Dubrovnik, the site of the religious pilgrimage Me\u0111ugorje… All of these locations can be reached by car, bus or boat in the blink of an eye. However, we have to warn you that neither of them has ever left anyone cold and if you visit one of them, you’ll feel the urge to visit another… A week surely won’t be enough.
