Although the term \u201cWerbeck Singing\u201d is accepted in everyday speech, I must emphasise that it is not fully accurate. It would be more accurate to use the longer, but the only correct term &#8211; &#8216;the School of Uncovering of the Voice \u201c(\u201edie Schule der Stimmenth\u00fcllung\u201c).<\/p>\n<p>This singing approach has been developed by Valborg Werbeck-Sv\u00e4rdstr\u00f6m, Swedish female opera singer. Her aim was not to train the voice, but to set it free. Therefore, in the \u201cthe School of Uncovering of the Voice\u201d singing is not considered as a result of the activity of particular organs or parts of the body, but as the expression of our whole being. However, the voice can be \u201cimprisoned\u201d due to various physiological and other obstacles.
